New Feature: Waiting List Manager now has an Unsubscribe Link
Store owners lose thousands of dollars daily from out-of-stock products that customers can't find again. The Waiting List Manager solves this by letting customers subscribe to back-in-stock notifications — and our latest update adds full email compliance.
Our latest update introduces one of the most-requested features from our user base: a proper unsubscribe link in every notification email. This addition has significant implications for compliance, deliverability, and customer trust.
Why Unsubscribe Links Matter
Google and Yahoo started enforcing new requirements for bulk email senders on February 1, 2024. By June 1, 2024, bulk senders must include a one-click unsubscribe link in both the header and body of emails. Non-compliant stores face legal penalties up to $43,792 per violation under CAN-SPAM Act regulations. Beyond financial risks, poor compliance ruins email deliverability rates permanently.
How the New Unsubscribe Link Works
Every back-in-stock notification email sent through Waiting List Manager now includes a clearly visible unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email. When a customer clicks the link, they are immediately removed from the waiting list for that specific product. No confirmation email required, no friction.
"We built the unsubscribe feature to protect both our merchants and their customers. Compliant email practices protect your domain reputation and keep your notification emails landing in inboxes."

What This Means for Store Owners
This update requires no configuration on your part. The unsubscribe link is automatically included in all notification emails sent from the date of this update forward. Your existing subscriber lists are unaffected — only the email template has been updated. The system automatically handles all technical requirements, ensuring your store meets Google and Yahoo standards without disrupting your workflow.
